Twin Mill III question

It looks like the bottom car in the pic is the original Twin Mill and the top car is the Twin Mill III.
They were 2 different releases in this years lineup, even though they have similar paint jobs.
When I first saw them I couldn't figure why they would be releasing the same car again in a later batch.
It took me a minute to understand that they weren't actually the same car.

I was just thinking that maybe I wasn't understanding exactly what you were asking, so if I misunderstood, please explain more.

Yes, one is the Twin Mill III and the other is the original. It's part of the "Then and Now" series. The original Twin Mill is also one of the Supers for this year.

I think the same color is an awesome idea so that you can side by side display then and get the then and now view. NOW some one make a Twin Mill II in green to make the set complete.

Good idea!
I also like the similar paint jobs for the then and now series.
It's kind of cool how they look, when put side by side.
I hope they keep this series going for a few years, like the race team colors.
