Is anyone still collecting Hot Wheels anymore? I have been busy with work and swing by and NOTHING new here.

Just asking. Leave a little note if you still around. I will be back I promise, just over loaded right now.

Craig.

I frequent here once in a while.
I have been spending most of my time with my "End of the Year in Review" video.

I'm still here. The main site stays busy but the message board less so. We need some good topics going to get some more visitors coming in.

still here also. I also cruise through on the internet in hopes that something is happening or that someone wants to trade...but...

I still collect but only the older material these days and do not frequent the stores looking for new anymore

I am still here. No where near what I used to be though. Since I moved back to PA, my collecting has fell off drastically. Even when I find something new, I am no where close to being excited as I used to be. Actually started selling off a lot of my collection. Taking most of the rest of it to a swap meet soon.

Miss the interaction. Miss running into fellow collectors at the stores. Miss the club meetings. Miss posting here. Is it me or has the entire hobby died off a bit?

Funny thing. I still check Hotwheelscollectors.com because there is supposed to be a '64 GTO coming out soon. I checked to today and saw the new Breakaway Bucket for sale. I bought it. Cheap. $9.99. Only making 3,000.

Guess the spark is still there!!!

Craig:

Still around and checking in from time-to-time.

I miss the old days when it seemed like trading was at its peak. I can remember times I would receive a box two to three times a week and some of those boxes would contain a whole bunch of Hot Wheels. Always enjoyed trading with my Canadian buds. Over the years I guess I've traded with folks in about 20 states and Canada. Anyway, I've cut way back on collecting and focusing mostly on trucks I like and cars that are Race Team or Muscle Mania, and of course, Treasure Hunts.

How about you? You still collecting and trading?

I should have started collecting way earlier!

Another thing I would like to add.

Hallsguide isn't the only slow forum. A lot of the others are slow as well. That's IF they even exist! The only one that has a decent amount of info flowing is HWC/RLC. I can remember just a few years ago there were several forums I would be on several times a day! Hallsguide, Joes Diecast Shack, The Jolly Rodger, Lightning Lane, Hobby Talk and Diecastspace just to name a few. I was REALLY into the Diecastspace site and it is gone! Like Craig, I remember trading almost weekly. Searching the pegs darn near daily. Buying something every week on eBay or The Toy Peddler. Just not like it used to be.
