Cool find

Postby Pontiecast » Thu Apr 22, 2010 8:33 am

This little JL "box" has been sitting on the shelf at wal mart for about a week with M2 and NASCAR stuff in it. I finally took it to check out and asked if I could have it. They said no prob. Not very big, but kinda cool to keep some of the forever 64 stuff in.....

Very unusual for WM to let go of any of their displays. I was under the impression that they were not suppose to let customers take any displays or empty cases. Nice going. It's in good shape too.

DH, maybe it's the way I did it.
I browsed the HW and JL pegs and found nada. Well, nothing but the display which is actually what the forever 64 series cars are shipped in. Walked to the frozen food section and picked out a few entrees for lunch and put them in the JL box. Added a banana and proceeded to check out. I told the check out lady this was laying in the toy section and asked if I could have it. Not only did she say yes, but she commented on what a cool idea it was to carry my groceries in it.
And that is the story of the JL box!
