New JL 4-pack

Postby Pontiecast » Fri Aug 06, 2010 9:06 am

Pretty cool! JL has a new 4-pack out. Police Corvette, Pinto, Scout and a mystery Zinger!!! Kinda pricey at $9.99, but I just had to see what the ZInger was. All the 4 packs on the shelf were the same. I would like to know if all the Zingers are the same....

And the mystery Zinger.... Malibu....

Also I found the new '65 GTO with the Jolly Green Giant race deco. Been waiting for this one, but I gotta tell you. I am a little dissapointed. I figured Johnny Lightning would pay more attention to detail. The car is a 1965. BUT, the rear end is a 1966!!!

May not be a big deal to some, but those who know Pontiacs know there is a HUGE difference between the '65 and '66. Oh well. What can you do?!?

Omg, Brad! They might as well have put a 442 tail on it. The '66 and '67 may have been in the same generation, but their body styles are vastly different. This is not just a mistake. It a bungle of epic proportion. I can understand putting different taillights if the body panels were the same, but the rear of the '65 doesn't even look like the '66 or '67. Well, I'm glad you found it anyway. As for the JL 4pk, I like the Malibu, but the one for me is the Scout 4x4.
