Diecast Spotlight – White Interior ’69 COPO Corvette

Diecast Spotlight is a new feature to the Hallsguide Blog.  We will be highlighting rare, unusual, and little known diecast releases in this ongoing feature.

As the 2011’s are hitting the shelves, one vartiation stands out as the rarest variation to date.  That is the 2011-004 ’69 COPO Corvette from the New Model Series with the blue body and white interior.  There are currently three versions of the model on the market at the moment:  1) White with blue interior  2) Blue with grey interior  and 3) Blue with white interior.

The first 2 variations are relatively easy to find.  The Blue with white interior has proven to be much more rare, with only one showing up on Ebay so far.  The secondary market value of the white interior version is currently $40.  Look for that to go up if you don’t see many more hitting the secondary market, or it could drop if it proves to be released in greater quantities later this year.

Thank you to Ebay seller Pinball007 for the pictures.
